Felix – The Elf on the Shelf | Wichita, Kansas Elf Photographer

Look who’s back at our house! Felix is our Elf on the Shelf and he will be visiting our home during this month to keep an eye on our kids and see if they are good. Hopefully he’s not up to too many shenanigans while he’s here! Check out Felix’s mischief from last year here

I’m thinking Felix’s grand entrance didn’t go as planned. Maybe he needs to take a lesson from Santa on sneaking in through the fireplace. Especially a gas one!

I don’t think Felix was expecting it to be 70 degrees in December here in Kansas. We found him hanging around in the freezer this morning. Probably a little more like home in there.

I think Felix knows better than to leave Lego’s lying around when he’s done playing with them! I sure hope he didn’t do that on purpose so we would step on one!!

Sometimes Felix is a baaaaaad little elf.

Elf discipline. Looks like Felix fell asleep in the middle of writing his sentences. We will give him credit for the effort and won’t tell Santa what he did.

I hope Felix isn’t too tired today since it seems he stayed up all night playing DS. At least he wasn’t up vandalizing our house!

Do you like Green Eggs & Ham?

Would you eat them with an Elf?

Could you, could you on a shelf?

Do you like them here or there?

With lots of syrup everywhere!

Silly Elf, that’s not a cookbook! Guess Felix thought the kids would like Green Eggs & Ham for breakfast. Elf style, with syrup, of course!

Sometimes Felix can be such a good little helper! I wondered when I’d ever have time to get my Christmas cards done but looks like he’s got them all ready to go out!

Felix was just hangin’ around in the manger with baby Jesus today. Jesus is the reason for celebrating this season, after all!

Well the weather man said it would snow but since he was wrong I guess Felix decided to make his own fun! Every elf needs to make “snow” angels in the sugar at least once anyway!

We caught Felix sneaking around with my phone, texting Santa, last night. Looks like he reported back that the kids are being good!! Him… not so much.

Felix is reading The Elf on the Shelf book to the other toys and bragging about how famous he is!

Felix! We found the little stinker putting a red sock in our white laundry! Good thing we caught it, I’m pretty sure Mr. Cole would not want to wear pink shirts to work!

Just doing a little yoga on the front porch this chilly morning… you know how elves love their… yoga? Hmmm, silly Felix!

Felix found an Etch-A-Sketch just his size!

Today, Felix is spending some time with Jesus praying. For bad things happening in the world, for tragic events this past week, for little ones gone far too soon. Also thanking God for his Son sent to be our Savior and a light in this sometimes very dark world. Thank you Jesus.

The guys were guarding the homemade candy we made last night because we had a feeling Felix would try to go after it. Looks like he was on a mission to get it any way he could!

Seems the guys got Felix back for sneaking the candy while they were on watch by giving him a little toilet paper roll down the stairs. Although it looks like he is enjoying himself and I’m pretty sure Shrek is too!

I think that Rudolph was feeling a little embarrassed about how he’s always leaving reindeer “poop” (jelly beans) around so Felix wanted to reassure him by reading the kids book “Everyone Poops”.

We found Felix snow bathing on the deck this morning! Pretty sure he has been waiting for this since he got here.

Today Felix left our daughter, Morgan, a sweet birthday message, no pun intended.;)

Shepherd Elf tending to his flock.

Felix to the rescue! Apparently he thought he would fix the section of lights that’s gone out on our tree… Unfortunately, they still aren’t working. Nice try anyway, Felix.

This is Felix’s last day at our house this year since he will be going home tonight. I see last night he was reading the story of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, and it drew the biggest crowd of toys we’ve ever seen!

Stay tuned to see what Felix is up to next year!!

Hi Melinda! I had my husband text me and I had changed his name/photo to Santa in my phone so it looked like we were texting with Santa. :)
