Have you heard of The Elf on the Shelf? Well if not, it’s a fun little Christmas Tradition in which an elf, your family has adopted, comes to life each year before Christmas. He moves around every night while the kids sleep and watches over them during the day to see who is being naughty or nice. Our family’s elf is Felix and he is already up to all kinds of shenanigans. Stay tuned to see what the little rascal does next!
Felix found some friends to play with, just hope our little boy doesn’t learn any tricks from him!
Felix was pretty quiet last night, just playing some Christmas music on the little piano book. I have a feeling this won’t last…
Someone’s got some explaining to do… Felix is a little stinker!
Our kids had some friends sleep over so Felix thought he should do the same… He and Shrek built a fort and told ghost stories all night!
Felix was reading Luke chapter 2 this morning when I found him… I think he wants everyone to remember the real reason for celebrating this season, the birth of our Saviour!!
Looks like someone found the candy dish and his eyes were bigger than his tummy!
Sneaky little Felix got into my studio to do a photo session with Woody! Apparently Woody forgot his hat so they tried out some of my newborn props for fun instead. Included are some of the images I found on my camera…
Our little boy doesn’t care to wear his slippers so I’m glad Felix & Barbie found a good use for them! Although it kindasorta looks like she’s beating him!! Or maybe he’s just letting her win.
At our house stockings aren’t filled with lots of treats but mostly necessities… Felix found that out while sneaking into the kids stockings last night
Obviously Felix doesn’t know about my “no bungee jumping in the house” rule…
Poor little fella caught the cold that’s been going around.
Playing Christmas songs for the other toys
To quote Buddy in the movie Elf, “We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.” Looks like Felix was being sweet and making our girls a “balanced” lunch for school!
Felix sure does know where to find all the goodies in our house! Roasting marshmallows, yum!!
Silly elf! Looks like Felix was hangin’ around in the tree and caught his reflection in the glass ornament. He must have liked what he saw because this is where I found him.
The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross! I think Felix did a lovely job with his happy little elf and his happy little tree!
Naughtly little elf, caught Felix spying on the neighbors!
Found Felix playing Candyland with the guys this morning. I wonder if the others have figured out why Felix always seems to win?!
After last weeks game between Green Bay (my fav. team) and Kansas City (mom’s fav. team), Felix had to show his team loyalty, even if our team did lose their fist game all season!
Bet he was cracking himself up as he dressed Mr. Potato Head in Mrs. Potato Head’s accessories!
It’s our daughters birthday and I don’t know who is more excited, her or Felix! He was peeking into one of her gifts this morning!
Felix must be feeling a little homesick, I found him outside in the snow ejoying a tea party with Rudolph!
Poor Felix got all tangled up while doing some wrapping last night. And those paper cuts, ouch!
Felix is all done here at the Cole house, he’s going back home tonight. I see he’s waiting for us to make some cookies for Santa… which I have a feeling he will eat himself! Despite his mischief, we’ve had fun having him here. Can’t wait to see what shenanigans he’s got in store for us next year!!
